THE FAKE FACTORY “THE MATRIX” (2001-today) – IMMERSIVE DIGITAL ART EXPERIENCE
REAL OF FAKE?
The universe and everything in it, might be a simulation.
Our universe might be a highly advanced virtual reality world with humans playing ordinary characters.
“THE MATRIX” is a digital art immersive installation, tribute to the 1999 movie directed by the Wachowski Bros.
Throughout the use of an immersive videoprojection system and the iconic motion graphics, FAKE recreates a digital simulation of the reality seen as it was in the iconic movie. The result is a digital space that forces the viewer to reflect on reality and the levels of interpretation that digital reality brings with it.
